We've received some great feed back from satisfied customers!

I would like to thank you for introducing me to your Healthy Eating initiative.

You have given me very good advice relating to healthy eating in the workplace. My staff & I have really been enjoying the fruit that comes to the office  & I hope we can impact their lives by influencing them to eat in a healthy manner.

I have also been supplying fruit & veg to one of our contractors who has started juicing on a daily basis. He says his energy levels have improved drastically & can feel it if he doesn't get his juice every day. He's been so vocal about his juicing that I've started doing it too, so every few days he brings me some of his juice to help me with my healthy eating plan.

It's so convenient getting the fruit and veg delivered to the office, the prices are good & the quality of the food is also great.

I will definately recommend you to my friends and I will continue to use your services in the future.

Before I started getting fruit and veg delivered from Edinburgh Community Food, I as I suspect most people do, succumbed to the ease and homogenised shiny safety of supermarket shopping.

There is a certain joy in receiving your first veg box. Potatoes wrapped in mud not plasic, large rude shaped carrots with stalks, all sourced locally and delivered to my top floor door.

Beyond the provenance and quality of the food it is also great to know that any profits will be put back into the local area and not another out of town shopping centre.

Finally, Karen herself has gone beyond the call of duty. Hand delivering a large box after all the drivers had gone home. Would Mr Tesco do that?

Edinburgh Community Food is an initiative I fully endorse - it's great.

Many thanks for the for the fresh fruit and vegetable boxes. Each box has been full of wonderful vegetable and fruit that taste better than any we have eaten before. The boxes last us for 2 weeks and we finish everything off just in time for the new delivery.

It has changed the way we eat, we used to go to the shop to buy what we felt like for dinner and then usually ended up buying a lot of rubbish we didn't need to. Now I use what is delivered to me and so it has made me be a lot more creative with my cooking.

I now very much look forward to my fridge getting restocked by you guys every second Monday.

We would definitely recommend you without a shadow of doubt.

I just wanted to express my thanks for delivering a box of fabulous fresh food along with local artisan produce that you only find in farm shops. It was fantastic to be able to order these items without the hassle or expense of ordering from online retailers who charge delivery or trailling to a farm shop.

Another added bonus was that of knowing that I am helping deprived and impoverished people in our local area while doing my weekly shopping. We all generally shop in big supermarkets now, and moan that they are doing away with checkout staff to save money, but we could actually do some good by just shifting some of our shop from these big companies to a local organisation who gives back to the poorest in their community - Edinburgh Community Food.

Will definitely recommend to others and continue to shop with you myself.

I like to support local charities and this is one that is well worth helping. I order a fruit box every two weeks to be delivered to my office for the staff to have a healthy alternative to cakes and biscuits. It has been well received in the office and is proving to be exceedingly popular.

I have also bought quite a few fruit or oils and chutney baskets which are made to order containing whatever you think the recipient of the basket will want. It's a great idea for a gift for family, friends or clients and you could even buy one for yourself! Every time you buy something you are improving the health of others as all profits are ploughed back into the local community as advice, health snack promotions, information leaflets and cooking lessons.

The service is excellent with the delivery exactly when you have ordered it to come and the fruit is of high quality. I feel healthier just writing about this!

I have no hesitation in supporting Karen and her team in promoting her products to friends and family.

Karen & Edinburgh Community Food has been supplying our company with fresh fruit for the past month (February 2016). We are delighted with the quality of fruit that is supplied; it's always fresh & looks great. My intention is to bring healthy habits into the work place, so it has been ideal dealing with this company.

Fruit is delivered directly to our door every second Monday, so this is very convenient. Most of the fruit is consumed within a week & there's nothing left over after 2 weeks, just in time for our next delivery.

Thank you for a fantastic product & service, I have been recommending you to people I come across & will continue to do so.

Aquamarine Power have used Edinburgh Community Food for a number of years and have always been delighted with their service.  As a renewables company we put charitable giving and staff health near the top of our company ethos and like to support local companies who share our ethics.  The quality and variety of fruit has always been excellent, with lots of seasonable produce and on the rare occasion where there has been an issue with any fruit then it has been sorted out immediately.  The staff are very friendly and helpful – thank you.
