This pack was designed to facilitate the teaching and development of cooking skills, and to increase understanding of key healthy eating messages and good hygiene practice. It is broken down into 12 sections: The first 11 sections contain simple, healthy, low cost recipes. The 12th section contains activities to promote a healthier diet.
The pack is intended for those working within a community setting, with particular emphasis on those working with parents with limited cooking skills. It has been designed to be flexible so that the facilitator can plan a course based upon the needs of the group they are teaching.
