Edinburgh Community Food have been delivering emergency food parcels across the city to support those most in need at this time.

Callers in Edinburgh who call the Covid-19 helpline – 0800 111 4000 – are automatically connected to the City of Edinburgh Council who will support them to access the service they need, such as:

  • essential food and medication
  • links to local social work services for vulnerable children or adults
  • emotional support
  • contact with local volunteer groups

Referrals to this service requiring food can request emergency food parcels from Edinburgh Community Food containing fresh fruit and vegetables, tins and other food items.
