Our food co-ops help people without easy access get healthy fresh fruit and vegetables. The co-ops accept Healthy Start vouchers.

Promoting healthy eating

We promote healthy eating and cooking among families to give children the best start in life and, hopefully, keep them healthy as they grow up. We also work in the workplace to support employers and employees live healthier lives.

Training and Learning

ECF run training and learning opportunities that allow professionals, volunteers and individuals to develop their food and health skills and knowledge. This includes cooking skills, food preparation, food hygiene and food and health information and promotion.

Health Promoting Health Service

ECF are supporting the Health Promoting Health Service by increasing access to competitively priced fruit and vegetables through retail outlets in hospital settings. This has led to increased consumption of fruit and vegetables by staff, visitors and patients.
