REHIS Courses

 

ECF is a certificated centre for REHIS (The Royal Environmental Health Institute for Scotland).  Courses provided are:

  • Introduction to Food Hygiene – for non-food handlers
  • Elementary Food Hygiene – all food workers in the food industry
  • Elementary Food and Health – to provide nutrition and health information to people working in a wide range of catering outlets. Provides up-to-date information that extends their knowledge and understanding of the relationship between food and health.
  • Allergy Awareness - for anyone working in the provision of food

All courses are being held at Canongate Youth Project – 2nd Floor, 6 Infirmary Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1LT. Lothian Buses: 3, 5, 7, 8, 14, 27, 29, 30, 31, 35, 37, 45, 47, 49, 67.

REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene - cost £55 - Suitable for anyone working with food or wanting to work with food.

REHIS Elementary Food and Health (Nutrition) - FREE - Suitable for anyone working with food or would like to know more about healthy food

REHIS Allergy Awareness - £37.50 - Restaurants, cafes, community cafes, hotels, nurseries, schools, community centres, carers, hospitals and anyone working in the provision of food

REHIS Eating Well for Older People - FREE

Wednesday 19th December - 10.00am - 1.30pm

All courses may be delivered privately at your venue by arrangement.
