Volunteer Opportunities Join Our Board of Directors Board members help to set the strategic direction, and review and monitor Edinburgh Community Food’s work and activities, supporting and challenging the Management Team in meeting the organisation’s mission and vision. Our board of directors play a key role in bringing their own experience to inform strategy and to act as ambassadors and facilitators for the organisation. Edinburgh Community Food welcome applications from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds and are keen to hear from those who are passionate about FOOD and making a difference in your community. Our board of directors is elected by our members. Our staff team manages and carries out our day-to-day work. Ensuring compliance with company law and OSCR's rules and regulations, as well as proper operation, is the responsibility of our board of directors. (Approximately 100 words). Nominate today! Board Directors can be co-opted to the board throughout the year. Board Directors are formally elected by our members at our Annual General Meeting. Appointments are made throughout the year by fellow Board Directors. All Board Director applications must be received 42 days before our Annual General Meeting.
