Take & Make DIY Meals

Meal kit services are reinventing the way we shop, cook and eat but in a positive, healthy way. Busy people, who care about eating fresh, home-cooked meals are flocking to the concept of meals-in-a-box. These contain pre-measured ingredients along with easy-to-follow recipes. They offer time-stretched people and their families exactly what’s required to cook meals without the hassle of shopping, plus there are no leftover ingredients that may normally end up being thrown out!

We at Edinburgh Community Food have developed healthy and affordable meal packs. We want to encourage people to cook more vegetables and also to make this easy to do. Our Take & Make DIY Meal Packs have everything you need to make delicious, nutritious meals.

We have developed 7 soups, 9 main meals and 2 side dishes which are great value for money as well as healthy, nutritious and delicious. Each take & make bag has all the ingredients for 4 portions.
