Air fryers can be more cost effective but it does depend on what you are cooking. i.e. one chicken breast is cheaper to cook in the air fryer, however if you were to cook 4 chicken breasts separately in the air fryer you could have been cheaper to heat up the oven and roast the potatoes at the same time!
