Karen Miller - Operations Manager

Karen began working with Edinburgh Community Food in May 2001 as a Finance Administrator. Over the years Karen has worked in a variety of different departments and is now our Operations Manager in addition to the Account Manager for all our customers. 

Previously, Karen worked for Hilton Hotels as a Restaurant Manager.  Her hobbies include power walking and reading when she gets a chance!

Stuart Anderson - Warehouse Supervisor

Stuart started with Edinburgh Community Food in July 2018 as a part time packer/driver and has since been promoted to warehouse supervisor. Stuart was previously self employed as a fruit & veg wholesaler. He enjoys walking with his dogs and going up North in his spare time.

Stevie Hynd - Warehouse Team Leader

Stevie started with Edinburgh Community Food as a driver packer in February 2014 and has now progressed up to our Warehouse team leader.  Stevie previously worked with CEC as a cleaning supervisor. He enjoys walking with his dog and taking time out for his family.

Kenny Miller - Packer/Driver

Kenny started with Edinburgh Community Food in October 2018 as a part time delivery driver/packer. Kenny previously worked at Scottish Widows as an office administrator. He plays in a band in his spare time.

Stephen Black - Driver

Stephen started with Edinburgh Community Food as a volunteer driver and was recruited part time from May 2016.  Stephen has 20 years experience in hospitality and is a chef to trade. Stephen hosts Pub Quiz’s in his spare time.

Matt Forbes - Operations/Warehouse Assistant

Matt started with Edinburgh Community Food through the Community Job Scotland Programme as an Operations Assistant.  Matt previously worked for BUPA as a care assistant.  In his spare time Matt enjoys going to the cinema and music.
